The American Lung Association of Wisconsin
is dedicated to the fight against lung disease. Along with its medical section, the American Thoracic Society, the association provides programs of education, community service, advocacy and research. Areas of emphasis include tobacco control, asthma and environmental health. Founded in 1908 to fight tuberculosis, the American Lung Association of Wisconsin is the oldest voluntary health organization in the state.
