Alert Expired The EPA comment period is closed, now we need to take the fight to Congress The public comment period on the changes to the Environmental Protection Agency to the New Source Review closed at 12:00 midnight on May 2, 2003. Unfortunately the EPA isn’t the only one taking aim at the Clean Air Act. In addition to the proposed new rules, the administration has introduced legislation in Congress that would weaken and delay the enforcement of the Clean Air Act. Tell your Senators and Member of Congress to fight for clean air, to stand up for the nearly 2 million children with asthma living in counties with unhealthy levels of smog, and to vote NO on legislation that weakens the Clean Air Act. |
