Campaign Unavailable We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit American Lung Association of Minnesota. The short explanation of this alert was: For the third year in a row, Minnesota has been given an "F" in the American Lung Association's State of Tobacco Control report. This annual report grades all states in four areas of tobacco control: Smokefree Air, Youth Access to Tobacco Products, Cigarette Excise Tax rates, and Funding for Tobacco Prevention Programs. Our "F" once again is in the area of Smokefree Air. Although several local ordinances were passed across our state, we still do not protect all of our workers from the deadly carcinogens in secondhand smoke. All workers deserve to breathe clean air in their place of work. Please take a moment to "Take Action" by sending the sample letter to Governor Pawlenty and your state legislators telling them it's time Minnesota protects all its workers from secondhand smoke.
