The short explanation of this alert was:

 In the American Lung Association State of Tobacco Control 2005 report card that was released today, Florida receives an “F” in cigarette excise taxes and tobacco prevention spending, and a “D” in youth access to tobacco laws. The American Lung Association of Florida (ALAF) is calling on the governor and state legislators to protect Florida’s youth from the ravages of tobacco by significantly increasing Florida’s cigarette excise tax and restoring the funding for the tobacco prevention program.
