You can make a difference in Michigan’s tobacco control policies by sending  the email below to your representative today.  Legislation has been introduced in the Michigan Senate and House of Representatives to require all worksites, restaurants and bars to be Smokefree.  Restaurant and bar legislation has been introduced by Senator Raymond Basham (D-Taylor), SB394 and Representative Barbara Vander Veen (R-Allendale), HB4624.  Worksite legislation has been introduced by Senator Tom George (R-Kalamazoo), SB395 and Representative Brenda Clack (D-Flint), HB4625.  The Senate bills have been sent to the Government Operations committee and the House bills have been sent to the Commerce committee.  Please send a message to these important committee members and let them know that all Michigan residents have the right to breathe clean air!
