Maine the Only State with 4 A’s for the Second Year in a Row

The American Lung Association State of Tobacco Control: 2006 report has been released. For the second year in a row, Maine is the only state to receive four A’s! This national report card analyzes state tobacco control laws in four key areas – smoke-free air, tobacco program funding, cigarette excise tax levels and preventing youth access to tobacco. Maine has the best report card in the nation!

Please take a moment to send the letter below to your Maine State SENATOR or REPRESENTATIVE in Augusta to ask that they continue to support the Fund for a Healthy Maine Programs.
