We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit American Lung Association of California.

The short explanation of this alert was:

Thirty-four of California's fifty-eight counties failed one or more of three clean air tests for ozone and particle pollution graded in the American Lung Association State of the Air: 2004 report.  This report reminds us that too many people are breathing too much polluted air on too many days, and the health of more than 30 million Californians is at risk.  Asthma attacks, heart attacks, lung cancer and strokes have all been linked to high pollution levels.

Contact Governor Arnold Schwarzengger today and tell him that air pollution in California is a public health crisis, and that he needs to act now to clean up California's dirty air.  Take action and send a message to the Governor today!
