Please contact the Administration and urge them to support a strong global tobacco control treaty.   The U.S. Government is currently soliciting comments on the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC), a global treaty aimed a reducing the death and disease caused by tobacco use. 

The next round of negotiations on the treaty will occur in October, so now is a crucial time to make your voice heard.  The Administration is trying to weaken the treaty on such critical issues as tobacco advertising, consumer protection and trade. It is imperative that they hear from US citizens that this conduct is compeletly unacceptable and that US policy needs to change.
